This was a great campsite. It had warm showers, wash basins, and a great lodge to eat at! Plus fun things to do in the area. I think we will try to squeeze one more camping trip in.

Camping in the Sierras

I went on my first camping trip, and as a family our first camping trip. We went on a 10 miler to help N. achieve one of his Scout requiements. It felt good to hike! We hiked up to Cliff Lake. I could have stayed all afternoon. It was peaceful and prestine. The pic of T. in the storage bin is of her taking a bath. The next camp site has hot showers!

Ball Chair

I work from home and have a nice chair from Costco but have found it does not help me with my posture. I slouch and lean over and end up in contorted positions so one day I thought to get my exercise ball and use that. I used it for the day but I was only a head taller than my desk and needed some height.....like a big ball. I decided to google the internet for a big ball and came across this awesome chair! I have since put this on my " to buy list", but until then this is what I have created and am using.... my mop bucket as a base and my old ball. It works pretty well.

First Day of School

He began school first. She was really jealous. F. is in 3rd grade and continues to ride his bike to school. I think he has a good teacher. That first morning I went back to my room about 7:40 and when I came out he was gone.....school begins at 8:20. So I had to ride to school and give hima first day hug and take his picture. T. began kindergarten. She is in a bilingual class. We were able to visit and the teacher only speaks in Spanish. She did not seem too bothered by it and so far enjoys it!
