Patio Party
F. invited some friends over to watch Speed Racer. They would sit then go jump and then come back and sit. The weather has cooled off and we can enjoy being outside!
Smokey Bear Fun Run
Rachie encouraged us to run a race. So as Team Thompson we entered and all made it past the finish line....except for some.
M. was a good sport and stayed behind with T. who had stayed up too late the night before. Instead of facing her wrath the day of the race we let her sleep in. She would have been the most entertaining at the race. F. did a great job. Parking was a bear! that morning so we rode our bikes a good mile to the lake to the race, ran, and rode back to our cabin.
School Cone!
She is happy to be there!
It was hard to wake up that morning. She is used to sleeping in.
First Day of School
F. started first grade. A new school was built just west of us and we are excited to walk rain or shine to school. I made him a school cone filled with school supplies and goodies. I was nervous for F. this year but he walked right in to his classroom and found his desk. Relief.
